The Hyva Licence ReviewWhich agencies sell, ship and support Hyva's paid products Updated 5 October 2026

Hyva agencies in 2026, ranked on Hyva's licensed product line

Ten agencies are scored here out of 100 on what they publish about Hyva's licensed products, the part of Hyva that still costs money now that the theme itself is free. scandiweb ranks first on 87, Foundation Commerce second on 78 and Fluid Commerce third on 77. The heaviest line is the Hyva partner tier read from Hyva's full agency register, because Hyva's own partner documentation states that at least 45% of a partner's points must come from licence sales of Hyva Commerce, Enterprise, Checkout and UI, and that Platinum additionally requires a minimum of five developer certifications and at least 70% of an agency's live Hyva projects passing Google Core Web Vitals. scandiweb carries five listings at Platinum, read on 5 October 2026. Remove that criterion and first place changes hands, which is stated in the methodology rather than tuned away.

1 The shortlist

Every agency on this page, in order

1
scandiweb A buyer on Adobe Commerce who needs the whole Hyva licence conversation handled, from Enterprise down to the retail counter, by an agency whose register standing is backed by a published certification count 87 of 100.
2
Foundation Commerce A buyer whose checkout is the project and who wants two named clients with revenue and conversion figures published against Hyva Checkout specifically 78 of 100.
3
Fluid Commerce A buyer on Adobe Commerce who wants Hyva Enterprise, its current price and its limits all published before the first call 77 of 100.
4
Dev Team A buyer who wants Hyva Enterprise explained properly as a service line, and who will accept that the flagship checkout build publishes no results yet 76 of 100.
5
Vendic A buyer on Magento Open Source who wants the Hyva Commerce suite advised module by module, and the measurement published as carefully as the result 74 of 100.
6
ZERO-1 A buyer who wants the agency that writes code into Hyva Checkout itself, and the most candid published account anywhere of how a Hyva build goes wrong 69 of 100.
7
elgentos A buyer who wants Hyva Checkout quoted in hours before anything is signed, and a named business to business case with a commercial result behind it 68 of 100.
8
Aureate Labs A buyer who wants every Hyva licence price on one page, and the only published account here that tells the two checkouts apart correctly 68 of 100.
9
Cream A buyer who wants a dedicated page per Hyva product to read before a call, and who will ask for the client evidence on the call instead 62 of 100.
10
JaJuMa A buyer who wants the licence mechanics spelled out, including what an agency has to buy per client project, and a fixed price starting point 62 of 100.

Ten agencies that publish something about at least one of Hyva's licensed products, each scored out of 100 against the weighting in the next section. This page scores disclosure, not delivery quality: a low score means an agency publishes little about the paid line, not that it ships it badly. Every Hyva tier printed here was read from Hyva's full agency register on 5 October 2026, from each listing's own card, and never from the curated Preferred Partners page. Every other figure links the page it was read from. Four further agencies were researched and are named in the methodology with their scores.

2 How these were judged

What separates an agency that sells Hyva's paid products from one that installs the free theme

CriterionWhat a pass looks likeWhat a fail looks likeWeight
Hyva partner tier in the full register, and what that tier requires26 for a Platinum listing in Hyva's full agency register with listings in more than one country. 22 for a Platinum listing in one country. 17 for Gold in more than one country. 14 for Gold in one country. 9 for Silver. 5 for Bronze. 2 for a listing carrying no tier badge. This is the lane's defining criterion because it is the only fact here no agency can write about itself, and because Hyva publishes what it costs to hold: at least 45% of a partner's points must come from licence sales of Hyva Commerce, Enterprise, Checkout and UI, and Platinum additionally requires a minimum of five developer certifications and at least 70% of live Hyva projects passing Google Core Web Vitals. Not listed in Hyva's full agency register at all. The register publishes 460 listings across five tiers, read on 5 October 2026 as 18 Platinum, 45 Gold, 102 Silver, 264 Bronze and 31 listings with no badge. The curated Preferred Partners page carries only the top three tiers and is never used for a tier here.26
How much of Hyva's licensed product line the agency publishes, with its own scopeThe six products are Hyva Commerce, Hyva Enterprise, Hyva Checkout, Hyva UI, Hyva CMS and Hyva POS. 22 for three or more named with the agency's own scope of work on each, meaning what it builds, configures, customises or integrates. 18 for two with scope. 15 for one with scope plus one or more others named. 12 for one with scope. 8 for two or more named as services with no scope. 5 for one named as a service. 2 for the line named only generically, such as the Hyva ecosystem. No licensed Hyva product named on the pages read. This line sits second because the theme going free in November 2025 moved the whole commercial relationship with Hyva onto these products, and because naming a product is not the same as having shipped it.22
A named client live on a licensed Hyva product18 for a named client with the licensed product named, the scope described and a commercial or performance metric value published. 14 for a named client with the product named and the scope described and no metric value. 10 for a named client with the product named only. 6 for an implementation count or an unnamed client. 3 for a licensed product named as the default for new builds with no client behind it.No client found on a licensed Hyva product on the pages read. A client named against a generic Hyva build does not count here, because this page is about the paid line and the free theme is now the baseline everybody starts from.18
Hyva Enterprise and the Adobe Commerce depth it requires16 for Hyva Enterprise named with the agency's own scope, an Adobe partner level in current Adobe wording, and a published Adobe certification count, all three. 13 for two of the three. 10 for Hyva Enterprise with scope alone. 8 for an Adobe partner level alone. 6 for a published Adobe certification count alone. 4 for Hyva Enterprise named without scope plus an Adobe partner status carrying no level. 2 for Adobe Commerce named as a platform worked on, or Hyva Enterprise named without scope. This line is gated by Hyva, not by us: Hyva publishes that an Adobe Commerce store needs Hyva Enterprise rather than Hyva Commerce, and that Enterprise is what unlocks Adobe Sensei, content staging, B2B functionality and loyalty features.Neither Hyva Enterprise nor any Adobe status found on the pages read. Six of the ten agencies here publish no Adobe partner status of any kind on the pages read, and they are Vendic, ZERO-1, elgentos, Aureate Labs, Cream and JaJuMa. That is the single biggest source of the spread on this page. No criterion rewards being listed in Adobe's own directory, because the other nine agencies were not each looked up in it and a test only one party sits for is not a test.16
What the licensed products cost and are built on, stated correctly10 for both halves of the split published correctly, meaning the theme as free and at least one named product as paid, together with a correct current price for a licensed product and Hyva Checkout either described on Magewire or distinguished from React Checkout. 8 for both halves plus a correct current price. 6 for both halves with no price. 4 for one half. 2 for the products named with no statement of what is free, paid or licensed. Then minus 2, applied identically, where another page on the same site contradicts Hyva's own description or current price of a licensed product. Floor of 0.No account of what the line costs or is built on, on the pages read. Hyva's own pages on 5 October 2026 publish Hyva UI at 250 euro, Hyva Checkout at 1,000 euro one time, Hyva Commerce at 3,000 euro a year and Hyva Enterprise at 7,500 euro the first year then 5,000 euro, with the theme free.10
What a paid Hyva licence does not cover8 for a named limit of a licensed Hyva product with the mechanism named, together with a published result or statement that works against the agency's own sales case. 6 for a named limit with the mechanism named. 4 for a general caution that a Hyva licence does not cover everything. 2 for a limit published only as a reason to buy something else from the same agency. No limit of a licensed Hyva product found on the pages read. This carries the smallest weight because it tests honesty rather than capability, and it is the only line on this page where an agency holding the top register tier scores nothing, which is Cream.8

3 The ranking

Hyva agencies in 2026, ranked on the licensed product line

1

scandiweb

A buyer on Adobe Commerce who needs the whole Hyva licence conversation handled, from Enterprise down to the retail counter, by an agency whose register standing is backed by a published certification count87 of 100

First place is decided on the heaviest line and it is the one no agency can write about itself. Hyva's full agency register, read on 5 October 2026, carries five scandiweb listings and every one of them is Platinum, across five countries, out of 18 Platinum listings in a register of 460. Among the agencies ranked here, two hold more than one listing at Platinum: scandiweb with five and ZERO-1 with two. What that tier costs to hold is published by Hyva rather than inferred: at least 45% of a partner's points must come from licence sales of Hyva Commerce, Enterprise, Checkout and UI, and Platinum requires a minimum of five developer certifications and at least 70% of live Hyva projects passing Google Core Web Vitals. Hyva's own curated partner page, read the same day, puts the certification count at 30 or more certified Hyva developers and 50 or more Hyva projects delivered, in Hyva's voice rather than scandiweb's. The tier itself was announced in becoming a Hyva Platinum Partner, which does not explain what the tier counts, and that gap is what this page exists to close.

On the breadth of the licensed line this entry takes the top mark, and so do five agencies below it: Foundation Commerce, Fluid Commerce, Dev Team, Vendic and Cream. The criterion caps at three products carrying a published scope of work, and this entry carries four of the six. Hyva theme development carries a Hyva POS section that states plainly what the work is, that it integrates Hyva POS into an existing setup, configures how the stores operate and tests real checkout flows before go live, and what Hyva POS means for omnichannel retailers backs it with a seven minute account of the product, including that a free tier covers a single register while the Pro version adds offline mode, a customer display and advanced staff management. A first look at Hyva Commerce is a code level review written from early access, and it is where Hyva UI is named. The ATX Fitness launch on Hyva Commerce carries Hyva Commerce, Hyva Checkout and Hyva CMS together on one build. Hyva Enterprise is named, in how to work with Hyva on Magento 2, but only inside a licence sentence and never with a scope of work attached, so two of the six, Hyva Enterprise and Hyva UI, are named without scope.

On named clients this entry loses to five agencies below it, and they are Foundation Commerce, Vendic, elgentos, Aureate Labs and JaJuMa. The reason is precise. The ATX Fitness case names the client, names three licensed products, Hyva Commerce, Hyva Checkout and Hyva CMS, and describes the scope in detail, a United States store launched in 2.5 months with the homepage, listing and product pages, cart, Hyva checkout, account, blog and CMS pages built out, 15 or more extra features before launch and a quote from the client's chief executive. What it does not publish is a commercial figure. Its results read as all green Core Web Vitals, stated in words with no number, and 93 to 100% PageSpeed scores for accessibility across key pages. A second scandiweb page describes the same range as PageSpeed scores of 93 to 100 without scoping it to accessibility, so a reader cannot tell from the two pages which score the range belongs to. That is a question rather than a contradiction, and it caps this line at 14 of 18 while elgentos, Vendic and Foundation Commerce take 18.

On the Adobe side it takes 13 of 16, level with Fluid Commerce and Dev Team, and the shortfall is the same shape. Adobe Commerce development names Adobe Commerce Gold Solution Partner in body copy, Adobe's own Solution Partner Directory carries the same Gold listing, and the Adobe certification set publishes 894 or more Adobe certifications behind a practice of 23 or more years, 700 or more clients and 2,100 or more eCommerce projects, with a 95 NPS. Six of the ten agencies here publish no Adobe partner status at all on the pages read, namely Vendic, ZERO-1, elgentos, Aureate Labs, Cream and JaJuMa, which matters because Hyva publishes that an Adobe Commerce store needs Hyva Enterprise rather than Hyva Commerce. The full mark needs Hyva Enterprise described as delivered work as well, and that is the one thing missing.

The clearest loss on this page is the licence line, where this entry takes 4 of 10, behind Aureate Labs on 8 and Fluid Commerce on 6. The correct account exists and it is the most precise in this comparison: how to work with Hyva publishes that the Hyva Theme became free and open source on 10 November 2025, relicensed under OSL3 and AFL3, and that Hyva Checkout, Enterprise and Commerce remain proprietary and paid. Both halves of the split, with the exact date. Against that, reasons to use the Hyva theme is undated and still live, and it describes Hyva Checkout as React based and completely headless due to GraphQL, calls it available for free and open source, advises against using it, and prices the Hyva theme at 1,000 euro as a one time payment. Hyva's own Checkout page, which that sentence links, says Hyva Checkout is a commercial product based on Magewire, a PHP based technology, and 1,000 euro is now the price of the Checkout rather than of the theme. No scandiweb page read names Magewire, and no current price for any licensed Hyva product appears on the pages read, which is why the top rung is out of reach whatever happens to the contradicting page.

What holds the entry at the top is the boundary work, which takes the full mark. The first look at Hyva Commerce publishes that content created with the current Hyva library will not carry over automatically and that a transition plan is essential. The reasons page publishes that one of Hyva's drawbacks is that it does not work with extensions out of the box. The ATX case records that the build introduced technical risk because scandiweb was among the earliest adopters, and that accessibility scores were to be optimised further following the next Hyva update, both of which work against its own sales case. One more concession belongs here. The fuller credential account states 22 or more years where the canonical figure is 23 or more, and gives the Adobe Commerce start year as 2009 where scandiweb's own solutions page gives 2008, so two of the figures a buyer would screen on disagree across the site. And a separate guide to the best point of sale systems for Magento compares seven options and does not name Hyva POS, so a buyer who lands there would not learn that the product exists.

2

Foundation Commerce

A buyer whose checkout is the project and who wants two named clients with revenue and conversion figures published against Hyva Checkout specifically78 of 100

Second place is decided by the one thing this lane is thinnest on, and Foundation Commerce is the only agency here that has it twice. Two named clients carry commercial figures attributed to Hyva Checkout specifically rather than to a Hyva build in general. Citizen Watch states that it supercharged the checkout page performance by rolling out Hyva's checkout solution, and publishes a 141% increase in online revenue described as more than doubling turnover, a 43% increase in conversion rate and a 67% boost in page speed performance, alongside a Best Conversion Improvement award at the Hive Awards 2025. Again Faster publishes a 54% increase in conversion rate, a 64% increase in page speed and a 63% increase in checkout completion, with that last figure attributed in the sentence to increasing page speed using Hyva Checkout and simplifying data entry, delivered in 8 weeks.

On product coverage it takes the top mark with three carrying its own scope: Hyva Commerce, Hyva Checkout and Hyva CMS. Its Hyva Commerce page states that it builds high performance Hyva Commerce websites, its accelerator page states that a Hyva Commerce migration starts with a full audit of third party modules, its Hyva Checkout page sells tailoring every step of the checkout journey, and on Hyva CMS it goes further than description by stating it can quickly customise the platform to a merchant's requirements. It also publishes a Hyva POS explainer and a claim to work across the full Hyva product suite, with no POS client or delivery scope behind it. Hyva UI was not found on the pages read, which is the one product gap.

Its register listing is Platinum, in the United Kingdom, read on 5 October 2026. Where it falls away is the Adobe line, and the shortfall is specific rather than general. Its homepage badge row and every page title read Adobe Solution Partner and Adobe Commerce Solution Partners, with no level attached, and no Adobe or Magento certification count was found on the pages read. Hyva Enterprise is explained accurately, that it gives everything in Hyva Commerce plus compatibility with Adobe Commerce features, and never claimed as delivered work. That combination takes 4 of 16 against 13 for the agency in first place and for two others, which is most of the 9 point gap.

The licence line costs it too, and for a reason worth checking before a call. One post publishes the change correctly and to the day, that from 10 November 2025 the licence fee barrier is gone, and another publishes the current split as plainly as anyone: on Magento Open Source you need Hyva Commerce, on Adobe Commerce you need Hyva Enterprise. Against that, a 2022 frequently asked questions post is still live and still prices a Hyva Themes licence at 1,000 euro, and the same page publishes a recommended checkout list that labels the commercial Hyva Checkout product URL as React Checkout while listing Magewire Checkout separately as something coming soon. No euro figure for Commerce, Enterprise, Checkout or UI appears anywhere on the pages read. On published limits it takes the full mark, naming licence gating, Luma JavaScript dependency and the need for a complete front end rebuild, and going against its own sales case by telling merchants to own their own licences in case they change agency, and by recommending two rival checkouts.

3

Fluid Commerce

A buyer on Adobe Commerce who wants Hyva Enterprise, its current price and its limits all published before the first call77 of 100

Third place publishes more of the licensed line as its own work than anyone here, all four separately licensed products, and it is the only agency on this page whose Hyva Enterprise claim has a named client behind it. Its Hyva service page states that it has experience developing stores with Hyva Commerce but that it is not necessary for all business to business companies, so it runs a discovery session to establish which version of Hyva fits, that its Hyva development team is able to add Hyva checkout for business to business and direct to consumer companies, and that it is experienced in using Hyva UI, which it also built its own business to business accelerator on. On Enterprise, a July 2026 post states that it recently implemented Hyva Enterprise for its client Cablecraft.

That client is also where the entry gives ground. The Cablecraft result is explicitly withheld, with the page saying the project, the implementation and the results will follow in a forthcoming case study. A second Enterprise client, Pearson Hydraulics, is published as using Hyva Enterprise and the majority of its features, with the build detail attached to a generic Hyva front end and an enterprise resource planning integration rather than to the licensed product. A third, Stoves Are Us, is published as using Hyva Checkout while the conversion and search result is attributed to the theme. So the scope is described and no metric value is attached to a licensed product, which takes 14 of 18 rather than 18.

On the Adobe line it takes 13 of 16, level with the agency in first place, by a different route: Hyva Enterprise named as delivered work plus a Silver Adobe Solution Partner status stated with the level in current Adobe wording, and no certification count published. It is also the only agency here that publishes Hyva's current Enterprise pricing, a fixed 7,500 euro for the first year and 5,000 euro a year on renewal rather than varying by gross merchandise value, traffic or storefront count, and dates that change to July 2026.

Its register listing is Gold, in the United Kingdom, read on 5 October 2026, and that single line is what keeps it off the top: 14 against 26 for the two agencies holding Platinum in more than one country, scandiweb and ZERO-1. On the licence line it publishes the clearest statement of the split found anywhere, that in November 2025 Hyva announced its core theme was open source and free to use while Hyva Commerce, Hyva Checkout and Hyva UI remain on a paid subscription model, and then loses 2 points because older posts on the same site still price Enterprise and Commerce at 2,500 euro a year and still describe Hyva UI as free with the theme. On published limits it takes the full mark for the sharpest section on this page, headed that Hyva Enterprise does not make business to business complexity disappear, naming accumulated bespoke customisation, front end extensions and integration dependencies as the mechanisms, and concluding that it would not recommend treating a migration as a simple theme replacement.

4

Dev Team

A buyer who wants Hyva Enterprise explained properly as a service line, and who will accept that the flagship checkout build publishes no results yet76 of 100

Nobody here publishes the product line as a list better than this. Its Hyva page enumerates the ecosystem as Hyva Theme for the front end, Hyva Checkout for a conversion focused checkout, Hyva UI as a reusable component library, Hyva Enterprise as scalable tools for enterprise merchants and Hyva POS as unified in store and online commerce, and it is the only agency on this page that both names Hyva POS and explains Hyva Enterprise properly. On Enterprise it writes the clearest account in this comparison, that it brings Hyva Theme, Hyva Checkout, modern content management tools and enterprise capabilities into a unified platform built specifically for Adobe Commerce, and then claims the work as its own, helping merchants unlock Adobe Commerce with Hyva Enterprise whether they are migrating from Luma or Magento's progressive web app, launching new or modernising. On Checkout it publishes a service list covering new implementations, migrations from the default or a third party checkout, fully customised journeys, integrations to enterprise resource planning, order management and payment gateways, and business to business fulfilment workflows, and calls it its preferred checkout framework for all new builds.

The gap between that list and the evidence behind it is the whole entry. Flooring Superstore is a named client on Hyva Checkout with a genuine two phase scope published, the storefront modernised on Hyva Theme and then the checkout rebuilt, integrated with payment gateways, enterprise resource planning and order processing. It publishes no results at all: the results panel carries the labels checkout completion rate, conversion rate, checkout abandonment and mobile checkout performance with no values, and the page states that as the checkout has only recently launched the focus is on measuring over time. Its headline Hyva Checkout reference, which it calls one of the most sophisticated such projects, is for a European football club it does not name. So 14 of 18, and the page prints the empty panel rather than quoting the unattributed 40% conversion figure from its own Hyva page headline.

On the Adobe line it takes 13 of 16, by a third distinct route: Hyva Enterprise named as its own service line plus a published count of 24 Adobe Certifications on its homepage and its Magento development page, alongside 50 or more development professionals. What it does not publish is an Adobe partner level in current wording; what it publishes instead is Magento Solution Partner status, which is the pre Adobe phrasing. Its register listing is Gold, twice, for the United Kingdom and the Philippines, read on 5 October 2026, which takes 17 on the heaviest line. Its own news post announces Hyva Silver Partner status and describes itself as one of the few Silver Partners in the Asia Pacific region, so it publishes a tier one rung below the one the register gives it, which is an under claim rather than an over claim.

The licence line is where it scores lowest of any agency in the top five. Its Hyva page defines Hyva as a performance first ecosystem and lists five products, and on the pages read it never states that any of them is paid, licensed or priced, and never states that the theme is free. Hyva Commerce, the product a Magento Open Source merchant needs, is also missing from a list that includes Enterprise and POS. That is 2 of 10. Against that it takes the full mark on published limits, with the sharpest single sentence in the set, that Hyva alone is not a silver bullet and that images, fonts, JavaScript, caching, hosting and third party integrations all have to be optimised for the out of the box gains to be retained, and with a named client whose Hyva build was underperforming a year after implementation, published as a case study.

5

Vendic

A buyer on Magento Open Source who wants the Hyva Commerce suite advised module by module, and the measurement published as carefully as the result74 of 100

This is the only agency here with a page whose whole job is to explain the Hyva suite commercially, and it takes the top mark on product coverage because three products carry its own advisory scope: Hyva Commerce, Hyva Checkout and Hyva CMS. Its Hyva Commerce page states that the suite bundles Theme, Checkout, CMS and admin tools and that it helps a merchant decide what belongs in their store, and in Dutch it is more concrete still, that with Hyva Commerce the question becomes which module to deploy when and which to leave alone, and that it advises per shop. On Checkout it publishes that Hyva Checkout replaces the Luma checkout and that payment methods, shipping logic and business to business flows are tested step by step. On Hyva CMS it publishes the live view editor in feature detail. Hyva Enterprise is named once, correctly, as what Hyva Commerce needs to support Adobe Commerce, and Hyva UI once inside a bundle description, both without scope.

On named clients it takes the full mark, and the evidence is unusually careful. Huissteden was rebuilt on Hyva Theme and Hyva Checkout together, with third party scripts removed or loaded on demand, the cookie bar rendered server side, images served automatically as right sized WebP and Magewire adding products to the cart without a page refresh. It publishes Google Lighthouse mobile across five named templates with the heaviest product page going from 37 to 97 and the five averaging a 74.6% improvement, plus RUMvision real visitor scores of 100, 100, 99, 100 and 95, and then qualifies its own award by stating the result was not achieved on an empty store. Paco Verpakkingen is published on Theme and Checkout with 45 or more custom modules and six custom checkout modules for guest registration, payment method filtering and value added tax validation. TopaShop is labelled a takeover plus Hyva Commerce, with 60% reduced technical debt on modules and a 99 of 100 RUMvision score.

Its register listing is Platinum, in the Netherlands, read on 5 October 2026, and its own Hyva page goes further, calling itself the first Hyva Platinum Partner in the world. What costs it third place is the Adobe line, where it takes 2 of 16. Adobe is not published as a partner status anywhere on the pages read, no Adobe or Magento certification count appears, and Adobe is named only as a platform a client migrated away from and as the vendor focused on enterprise shops. Since Hyva publishes that an Adobe Commerce store needs Hyva Enterprise, that is a real gap for half this lane's buyers rather than a scoring artefact.

The licence line costs it as much again, and it is the one place a page positioned as pricing does not deliver. It carries a section headed what Hyva costs, states that licences run through Hyva and apply per store, that Hyva Checkout is licensed separately next to the theme, and that Hyva Commerce puts Theme, Checkout, CMS, admin theme and image editor under one licence. It then publishes no euro figure for any of them, deferring everything to the intake, and in answering whether Hyva is free it says Magento Open Source is free while the Hyva products carry a per store licence, which reads as though the theme is still paid. That is 2 of 10. It does take the full mark on published limits, stating flatly that Hyva only replaces the front end and that the catalogue, orders and integrations stay as they are, that every third party module with front end output needs a Hyva compatible version which it inventories up front, and offering, on every Hyva page, an introductory conversation that includes the answer that you should not start this. Its own rate card is published at 130 euro an hour for custom work.

6

ZERO-1

A buyer who wants the agency that writes code into Hyva Checkout itself, and the most candid published account anywhere of how a Hyva build goes wrong69 of 100

This entry shares the top mark on the heaviest line and then publishes less of the product line than any agency above it, and the distance between those two facts is the whole entry. Its register listing is Platinum under both the United Kingdom and the United States, read on 5 October 2026, which is 26 of 26, the same as the agency in first place. It also publishes a certified Hyva developer count, three, naming them as among the very first Hyva Certified Associate Developers, which is one of only three counts published anywhere in this research, the others being the 30 or more that Hyva itself publishes for scandiweb and the two that Synolia publishes, which is not ranked here. That announcement is dated June 2025 and the number it gives, three, is below the five certifications Hyva publishes as the Platinum minimum, so either the published count is behind the bench or the register reading and the agency's own page are measuring different moments. A reader cannot settle that from what is published, and it is worth a question on a call rather than a conclusion here.

On the one licensed product it does publish, it goes deeper into the code than anyone. It states that it developed the Instore Collect and multi source inventory functionality for Hyva Checkout, delivered the first implementation of ShipperHQ support for Hyva Checkout, contributed to Hyva and Hyva Checkout, and maintains a large in house automated test suite built for Hyva Theme and Checkout. One post walks through a checkout build as a sequence of steps that begins with purchasing the Hyva Checkout licence, installing its own standardised Hyva Checkout base theme and running a pre prepared library of Hyva Checkout Selenium tests, which is the plainest third party confirmation on this page that the product is a bought licence. Hyva Commerce is named once as a market signal and Hyva UI once descriptively, both without scope, and Enterprise, CMS and POS were not found on the pages read. Note that its own open source point of sale product, built on Hyva, is not Hyva POS.

Its named client sits one rung below the top for a precise reason. Barr Display is named on Hyva Checkout with ShipperHQ and the scope is specific, gathering extra customer information where large orders ship by less than truckload and may need liftgate or delivery location detail. The figure it publishes for that client, Core Web Vitals good URLs lifting from 19% to 85% in a little over two weeks, is attributed to switching to Hyva rather than to the checkout, so it is not counted as a metric on a licensed product. On the Adobe line it takes 2 of 16: no Adobe partner status and no certification count were found on the pages read, and Adobe appears only as a platform name beside Magento Open Source.

What it does better than anyone is publish against itself, and it takes the full mark for it. It devotes an article to whether Hyva guarantees Core Web Vitals and answers no, naming three mechanisms: an agency adding JavaScript libraries, a second CSS library and bad practices to the theme files, a merchant loading a content block with a video and thirty half megabyte images, and third party JavaScript dumped onto the page. It calls its own fastest checkout build potentially reckless. It published an article about losing a fifty thousand pound build because the work came in inside existing retainer hours, and in it names a large development team as a possible red flag. It publishes its own Hyva search research with the Luma comparison number intact, 94% of Hyva sites improving against 47% of Luma sites across 37 sites, which deflates its own headline. One thing to update rather than to hold against it: its Platinum announcement, dated October 2024, describes the agency as one of just seven companies worldwide at that tier, and the register read on 5 October 2026 carries 18 Platinum listings.

7

elgentos

A buyer who wants Hyva Checkout quoted in hours before anything is signed, and a named business to business case with a commercial result behind it68 of 100

On the named client line this is one of five agencies taking the full mark, alongside Foundation Commerce, Vendic, Aureate Labs and JaJuMa, and the case behind it is the best documented business to business checkout in this comparison. EFKA, an aluminium frame manufacturer, had its checkout rebuilt around its exceptions, differing delivery dates, shipping methods per product group and customer specific rules, and the page explains the engineering reason it worked: because Hyva Checkout has far fewer moving parts than the Luma checkout, the logic could be built inside the checkout instead of around it. The published result is 34% fewer abandoned carts, 22% fewer customer service requests and 15% more orders, after roughly three months for the Hyva work and a further month for the checkout. Seven more named clients are tagged on Hyva Checkout in its case fact boxes, with scope described on several and no figures.

Its Hyva Checkout practice is published as hours and as code. It states it has implemented over 20 Hyva themes and over 5 Hyva Checkout implementations, that those implementations typically range between 50 and 200 hours, and that where Hyva's own integrations stopped it built its own: PostNL and ShipperHQ support Hyva Checkout already, and it implemented support for Paazl itself, and where Postcode.nl supports the checkout it implemented Loqate itself. Hyva UI carries its own scope as a design route with hour bands, a rebuild on Hyva UI components at 300 to 500 hours against a fully custom design at 400 to 700, and it states that using Hyva UI as a foundation reduces cost. Hyva Commerce and Hyva CMS are named only as a planned next step for one client, so two products carry scope rather than three.

Its register listing is Platinum, in the Netherlands, read on 5 October 2026, and it publishes that accurately as the first Hyva partner in the Netherlands and now a Platinum Partner. The Adobe line is the only zero on this page: Adobe is not published as a partner status anywhere on the pages read, no certification count appears, Hyva Enterprise was not found, and Adobe is named once only as the vendor whose default progressive web app solution it says scores lower than a standard Hyva installation. For a buyer on Magento Open Source that costs nothing; for a buyer on Adobe Commerce it is the whole conversation.

The licence line takes 2 of 10 and the reason is an out of date sentence on its main Hyva page: that Hyva offers two products, the Hyva Theme and Hyva Checkout. Its own case page already names Hyva Commerce and Hyva CMS, and nothing on the pages read states that the theme is now free or that any product carries a subscription. Its blog gets the technology right where almost nobody does, that Hyva Checkout is built on top of Magewire, a system that lets its backend developers write checkout logic in PHP and XML, while one case page calls the product based on Laravel Livewire, which is the framework Magewire ports rather than the thing itself. It also uses Hyva React Checkout as its own label for bespoke React and GraphQL checkouts it builds, which a reader could easily mistake for a Hyva product. On published limits it takes the full mark: it published a build where it deliberately left the checkout on the old theme because that part of the shop was the most entangled, stated the downside itself, that one part of the shop still carries the old JavaScript, published the limits of its own React checkout including that it needs React knowledge to maintain, and then recommended the competing route as more robust and less maintenance heavy.

Aureate Labs

A buyer who wants every Hyva licence price on one page, and the only published account here that tells the two checkouts apart correctly68 of 100

This is the agency to read if you want to know what Hyva costs, and it takes the highest mark on this page for it, 8 of 10. It publishes the theme as free because it has become open source, previously priced at 1,000 euro, Hyva Checkout at a one time fee of 1,000 euro, Hyva UI as a separate one time purchase at 250 euro where it used to be bundled with a paid theme licence, and Hyva Commerce at 3,000 euro a year with the upgrade credits itemised, up to 1,000 euro each for an existing Theme and Checkout licence plus 250 euro per unused prepaid support month. It is also the only agency on this page that answers the checkout question correctly, naming Hyva React Checkout as an open source community maintained initiative built on React against the commercial product's dedicated development and regular updates. Two points come off for Hyva Enterprise being published at 2,500 euro a year, where Hyva publishes 7,500 euro the first year and 5,000 euro on renewal, and for its own template product pages still telling a buyer that a Hyva theme licence must be purchased separately.

On named clients it takes the full mark. Regton is titled as a Magento, Hyva and Hyva Checkout transformation, the scope is described as installing and customising the Hyva checkout to the client's needs and adding Omnifinance compatibility for Hyva Checkout, which it states was a market first, and the published figure is a page speed score moving from 14 to 84 on mobile with reduced cart abandonment stated in words. One caution for anyone reproducing that: a second Aureate Labs page publishes the same project as a page speed score improving from 14 to 92, so a reader cannot reconcile the two figures from what is published. The Regton page also concedes the starting condition, a store the client describes as overwhelming at over 100 extensions.

Product coverage sits at 18 because two products carry its own scope rather than three. Hyva Checkout does, through Regton. Hyva UI does, and unusually it is sold rather than described: Hyva UI components at 250 dollars as an add on to its own template product, with a Figma design file at 220 dollars, an installation service and a separately priced Figma file, and it publishes a Hyva UI guide of its own. Hyva Commerce, Hyva Enterprise and Hyva CMS are explained editorially rather than claimed as delivered work, and Hyva POS was not found on the pages read.

Its register listing is Gold, in India, read on 5 October 2026, and it publishes that accurately, having announced the move up from Silver. That single line is most of the distance to the top: 14 against 26. On the Adobe side it takes 2 of 16, with no Adobe partner status published and the nearest claim worded as official Magento partner. On published limits it takes the full mark, telling merchants that even with the theme open source they still need to budget for design, development, compatibility work and optional add ons such as Hyva Checkout, naming the child theme dependency its own product has on the Hyva licence, and going furthest of anyone against its own revenue by stating that any certified Magento or Hyva developer can do the installation work and that a buyer is free to explore another partner.

Cream

A buyer who wants a dedicated page per Hyva product to read before a call, and who will ask for the client evidence on the call instead62 of 100

This entry is the clearest evidence that this page asks a different question from the comparable one about theme engineering, where the same agency scores 27 of 100. Here it takes the top mark on product coverage, because it is the only agency on this page with a dedicated landing page for each licensed product: one for Hyva Commerce, one for Hyva Checkout, one for Hyva POS and the Hyva Theme alongside. Hyva Commerce is published as a complete suite that goes further than the Magento front end, with Hyva CMS and live view, an image editor, media optimisation and an admin dashboard named as its components. On Hyva Checkout it states its own scope plainly, that its team, selected as a Hyva Platinum Partner, handles a smooth implementation and configuration fully tailored to the shop and provides ongoing support, and it adds a technically useful detail almost nobody else publishes, that in some situations it implements Hyva Checkout alongside the standard Luma theme for a shop that has not fully moved to Hyva yet. On Hyva CMS it publishes release level detail, including that the visual editor's coverage extended from pages and blocks to category and product detail pages in version 1.3.0.

Its register listing is Platinum, in the Netherlands, read on 5 October 2026, and it publishes that accurately and goes further than most by telling a reader where the tier sits, describing Platinum as the highest partner level within Hyva. Its named client is Meerdanlicht, published in June 2025, where it advised renewing the Magento shop completely and implementing both the Hyva Theme and Hyva Commerce, used the Hyva Commerce content management system with live preview to make campaign pages faster to build, and built a rail configurator on top. No numeric figure is published against it, only that the result leads directly to more sales and less pressure on customer service, which takes 14 of 18.

Two lines cost it the rest. On the Adobe side it takes nothing: Adobe is not published as a partner status anywhere on the pages read, no certification count appears, Hyva Enterprise was not found, and the whole suite is framed as being for Magento Open Source, so an Adobe Commerce merchant reading these pages would be pointed at Hyva Commerce when Hyva publishes that they need Hyva Enterprise. On published limits it is the only zero on this page. Nothing was found on the pages read stating what a Hyva licence or Hyva Checkout does not cover, there is no caution about implementation quality and no statement of project risk, across four product pages that otherwise read as the most complete product documentation any agency here publishes.

The gap worth raising on a call is between the pages and the proof. It publishes a dedicated page for Hyva Checkout and a dedicated page for Hyva POS and no client against either, and its flagship Hyva Commerce case publishes no metrics. It does take 4 of 10 on the licence line for something nobody above it manages cleanly: a July 2026 release post states that Hyva Themes, the base under Hyva Commerce, is now free to use and continues to be developed. That statement is correct and dated, and it sits in a release blog rather than on the Hyva Theme product page, which carries no mention of licence or cost at all.

JaJuMa

A buyer who wants the licence mechanics spelled out, including what an agency has to buy per client project, and a fixed price starting point62 of 100

If the question is how the licence actually works in practice, this is the most complete answer on the page, and it is also the most contradicted. Its Hyva Checkout guide publishes that the checkout requires its own licence separate from the theme, that Hyva Checkout requires a store already running the Hyva Themes front end, that after the first year a recurring annual fee of 250 euro covers support, security patches and new features, and, the detail a buyer almost never sees, that agencies must purchase a separate plan for each client project. It publishes Hyva Commerce correctly at 3,000 euro a year as an annual subscription and explains the trade in credit toward it. It also resells the licences openly: its own rapid launch product is priced at 2,999 euro with a Hyva Theme and Checkout licence offered as a 2,000 euro option.

That last figure is where the licence line comes apart, and it takes 2 of 10. It states the standard one time licence fee as 1,000 euro for Hyva Themes and another 1,000 euro for Hyva Checkout, on a page carrying no date, where the theme has been free since November 2025. Its main Hyva service page repeats that Hyva Themes involve a one time licence fee. And it publishes Hyva UI as a free library, in one place as provided free of charge to anyone holding a valid Hyva Theme or Hyva Commerce licence, where Hyva's own store sells it at 250 euro. Hyva UI being free is in fact the most commonly repeated error in this whole comparison, and this is one of the pages carrying it.

On named clients it takes the full mark. Rosemarie Schulz is published as a rescue in which it rolled out Hyva Theme and Hyva Checkout, moved payment processing to Mollie and customised the front end to preserve the store's familiar look, with Cumulative Layout Shift from 0.3 to 0.0, Largest Contentful Paint from 1.6 seconds to 0.8, First Contentful Paint from 1.3 to 0.7 and Time to First Byte from 0.9 to 0.4. No measurement tool is named beside those figures and no commercial figure is published, but the client, the licensed product and the scope are all there.

Its register listing is Gold, in Germany, read on 5 October 2026, and it publishes that accurately alongside Hyva Technology Partner and Core Contributor status, and it discloses its own tier history, Silver in 2024 and Gold in 2025, which is rarer than it sounds. On the Adobe side it takes 2 of 16: no Adobe partner status was found on the pages read, the only Adobe reference is a Magento Marketplace verified extension provider badge, and Adobe Commerce is named only inside its description of Hyva Enterprise as an add on for Adobe Commerce users providing compatibility for business to business features, Adobe Sensei and Live Search. On published limits it takes the full mark, because it treats the licence mechanics as limits in their own right and adds that Hyva implementation requires deep expertise in Magewire, Alpine.js and Tailwind CSS, while its own product pages argue against retained agency revenue by promising code ownership and no vendor lock in.

Dev Team publishes the clearest explanation of what Hyva Enterprise is, that it brings Hyva Theme, Hyva Checkout, content management tools and enterprise capabilities into a platform built for Adobe Commerce, and claims the work as its own service line. scandiweb publishes the deepest Adobe credential set and names Hyva Enterprise only inside a licence sentence, so ask it for the Enterprise scope directly.
The checkout is the whole project and your board wants a revenue number attached to itFoundation Commerce first, then elgentosFoundation Commerce is the only agency here with two named clients carrying commercial figures against Hyva Checkout specifically: Citizen Watch at a 141% increase in online revenue, a 43% increase in conversion rate and a 67% boost in page speed performance, and Again Faster at a 63% increase in checkout completion attributed to Hyva Checkout and simplified data entry. elgentos publishes EFKA at 34% fewer abandoned carts, 22% fewer customer service requests and 15% more orders, and quotes the work at 50 to 200 hours before any conversation.

It is also the only agency here that answers the difference between Hyva Checkout and Hyva React Checkout correctly. Check its Hyva Enterprise figure on the call, because it publishes 2,500 euro a year where Hyva publishes 7,500 euro the first year. Fluid Commerce publishes the current Enterprise price and the November 2025 free theme split together, and also carries older posts with the superseded figures.
You are on Magento Open Source and want the whole Hyva Commerce suite advised rather than installedVendic first, then Cream, then Foundation CommerceVendic publishes a dedicated Hyva Commerce page which states that the suite bundles Theme, Checkout, CMS and admin tools and that it advises per shop which module to deploy and which to leave alone, plus a 130 euro hourly rate for custom work. Cream publishes a landing page per product and a named Hyva Commerce client, Meerdanlicht, where the live preview CMS and a rail configurator are described as its own work, though no figure is published against it. Foundation Commerce publishes a Hyva Commerce migration that starts with a full audit of third party modules.
You are putting retail counters on the same Magento instance as the webshopscandiweb first, then Cream, then Foundation CommerceFour agencies here name Hyva POS at all, scandiweb, Dev Team, Cream and Foundation Commerce, and only one publishes a scope of work on it. scandiweb states on its Hyva service page that it integrates Hyva POS into an existing setup, configures how the stores operate and tests real checkout flows before go live. Cream publishes the richest product description, including card payments through Mollie terminals and an offline first design, and no client or delivery scope. Foundation Commerce publishes an explainer and a capability claim across the full suite, and Dev Team names it in a product list as unified in store and online commerce. Ask all of them for a live reference, because Hyva's own POS page is headed coming soon and its pilot is closed, and none of the four publishes a POS client.
You want the people who write code into the paid checkout rather than the people who resell itZERO-1 first, then JaJuMa, then elgentosZERO-1 publishes that it developed the Instore Collect and multi source inventory functionality for Hyva Checkout, delivered the first implementation of ShipperHQ support for it, contributed to Hyva and Hyva Checkout, and maintains its own Selenium regression suite and base theme for the product. JaJuMa publishes that its process begins with an audit of system requirements and extension compatibility and that it customises the checkout using Magewire and Tailwind CSS. elgentos publishes that it implemented Paazl and Loqate support for Hyva Checkout itself. Expect to trade disclosure for depth: none of the three publishes a certified Hyva developer count above three.

6 In detail

What Hyva's licensed products cost, and what you are actually buying

Start with the change that makes this a different question from the one most Hyva pages answer. On 10 November 2025 the Hyva Theme became free and open source, relicensed under OSL3 and AFL3, the same licences as Magento Open Source. The theme is no longer the purchase. What remains paid is a product line, and Hyva publishes the prices on its own store. Read on 5 October 2026: Hyva UI at 250 euro, Hyva Checkout at 1,000 euro as a one time fee with one year of support and updates included and 250 euro a year after that, Hyva Commerce at 3,000 euro a year or 15,000 euro upfront for five years, and Hyva Enterprise at 7,500 euro the first year renewing at 5,000 euro, or 27,500 euro upfront for five years. Each licence covers one installation with unlimited domains and store views belonging to the same business entity.

The division that decides which of those you need is not a matter of size or taste. Hyva states it flatly: if you are on Magento Open Source or Mage-OS, use Hyva Commerce, and if you are on Adobe Commerce, you need Hyva Enterprise. Enterprise is what unlocks Adobe Sensei capabilities, content staging, business to business functionality and loyalty features, and Hyva adds the caveat that it has not covered all Adobe Commerce features yet. That single sentence reorganises an agency shortlist, because it means an Adobe Commerce merchant is buying the more expensive product and needs an agency that can deliver the Adobe side of it as well as the Hyva side. Six of the ten agencies ranked above publish no Adobe partner status of any kind on the pages read: Vendic, ZERO-1, elgentos, Aureate Labs, Cream and JaJuMa. Of the four that publish something, scandiweb and Fluid Commerce name a level, Foundation Commerce names the status without a level, and Dev Team publishes a count of 24 Adobe certifications under the older Magento Solution Partner wording.

Two products sit outside that split and both are easy to mis-shelve. Hyva CMS is not a separate licence at all: it is bundled into Commerce and Enterprise, and Hyva publishes that it runs alongside Page Builder on a per page or per block basis rather than replacing it, with existing Page Builder content retained. Hyva POS is a separate per register licence, 50 euro per register per month for the Pro tier with a free tier covering a complete register on one device, and it is the newest thing here by a distance. Hyva's own POS page is headed coming soon, its closed pilot has already shut to new applications, and a public App Store release is still to follow. So a Hyva POS answer from an agency today is a statement about readiness, not about a live reference. Four of the ten agencies ranked above name the product at all, and they are scandiweb, Dev Team, Cream and Foundation Commerce. One of the four publishes a scope of work on it, which is scandiweb, and none publishes a client.

The counts matter for a reason that has nothing to do with features. Hyva's partner documentation states that at least 45% of a partner's points must come from licence sales, and it names those sales as active Hyva Commerce, Enterprise, Checkout and UI licences, including client licences connected through My Clients. Hyva POS is not on that list and Hyva CMS is not a separate licence, so the four products that move an agency up the register are not the same as the six a merchant can buy. That is why this page scores the tier and the published product coverage as two separate lines rather than one, and why the four product version of the coverage line is reported in the methodology alongside the six product version.

Finally, the cheapest check a buyer can run, and almost nobody on this page passes it. Hyva publishes two checkouts and they are not two names for one thing. Hyva Checkout is a commercial product built on Magewire, a PHP based technology, and it needs its own licence. React Checkout for Hyva Themes is a separate community owned open source project, free on GitHub, built on React. Of the ten agencies ranked above, exactly one publishes that distinction correctly, and it is Aureate Labs. Foundation Commerce publishes a recommended checkout list that labels the commercial product's own URL as React Checkout. elgentos uses Hyva React Checkout as its own label for bespoke React checkouts it builds, and on one page calls the paid product based on Laravel Livewire rather than Magewire. And the most detailed published account on scandiweb's site describes the commercial Magewire product as React based and free. One agency researched but not ranked here, integer_net, names React Checkout as the checkout actually delivered on its flagship Hyva reference, which is a different and perfectly legitimate choice but is not the paid product. If you ask one question of a shortlist, ask which of the two they mean.

The tier, read properly

What a Hyva Platinum listing actually requires

A Hyva partner tier gets treated as a badge. Hyva publishes what it costs to hold, and the requirements are specific enough to screen on. Each tier needs a points threshold, a minimum number of developer certifications and a minimum share of the agency's live Hyva projects passing Google Core Web Vitals. Bronze needs no certifications and 50% or better. Silver needs one certification and 50%. Gold needs three and 60%. Platinum needs five certifications and 70% or better. On top of that, at least 45% of a partner's total points must come from licence sales, points are capped if marketing and certification points exceed 55% of the total, and only licences registered in the Hyva Portal count at all.

Two consequences follow and both change how a tier should be read. First, a Platinum listing is a vendor attestation about three separate things at once, commercial volume in the paid line, a certified bench of at least five, and a measured pass rate on real pages. That is a much stronger signal than a logo, and it is the reason this page gives the tier the heaviest weight. Second, the tier is a lagging indicator. Hyva states that points are tallied once a year in December on the current and previous year's activity, that an agency cannot be downgraded during the year, and that no downgrades will occur in 2026 at all because of a transition to a new points system. So a tier read today reflects a December tally that is not allowed to fall before the next one.

That lag is visible in this very set. Hyva's full register, read on 5 October 2026, lists Synolia at Platinum. Synolia's own pages still describe it as a Hyva Gold partner, on its Hyva solution page, its partners page and a 2025 event write up. The register moved and the marketing has not caught up, which is the less worrying direction for a discrepancy to run. It also means a tier printed without a date quietly rots: between 28 September and 5 October 2026 the register went from 17 Platinum and 46 Gold to 18 Platinum and 45 Gold, with the total unchanged at 460 and exactly one listing moving up. Every tier on this page therefore carries the date it was read, and no claim is made that any agency is the only one at any tier.

The commonest mistake

Hyva Checkout against React Checkout, and why this keeps going wrong

Hyva sells one checkout and the community maintains another, and the two have nothing in common but a name. Hyva Checkout is a commercial product built on Magewire, a PHP driven component framework that Hyva says will feel familiar to Magento developers. It costs 1,000 euro as a one time fee, needs its own licence, and Hyva publishes that because it was built from scratch on Magewire, Alpine.js and Tailwind CSS, standard Magento integrations in most cases do not work out of the box and compatibility has to be added. React Checkout for Hyva Themes is a community owned open source initiative, free on GitHub, built on React. Hyva says so on the same page, in a question headed with exactly this comparison.

Across the ten agencies ranked here, the distinction is published correctly once. Aureate Labs answers the question directly and names the React project as community maintained against the commercial product's dedicated development. Foundation Commerce publishes a recommended checkout list, in a post dated July 2022 and still live, that labels the commercial Hyva Checkout product URL as React Checkout and lists Magewire Checkout separately as a future thing. integer_net, which is not ranked here, names Hyva React Checkout as the checkout actually delivered on its flagship Hyva business to business reference, which is a legitimate engineering choice and is not the paid product. elgentos uses the phrase Hyva React Checkout as its own label for bespoke React and GraphQL checkouts it builds itself, correctly describes the paid product as running on Magewire on its blog, and on one case page calls it based on Laravel Livewire, which is the framework Magewire ports rather than the thing itself.

The first placed agency on this page has the worst version of the error and the page says so in its entry. Its most detailed published account describes Hyva Checkout as React based and completely headless due to GraphQL, calls it available for free and open source, advises against using it unless a checkout only headless application is required, and links Hyva's own page, which contradicts every one of those statements. The same page prices the Hyva theme at 1,000 euro, which is now the price of the Checkout. None of this stops the work existing, because a Hyva Checkout implementation is published for a named client on a different page. It does mean that what a buyer reads first is wrong, and on a page that scores published evidence that costs points rather than being argued away.

The boundary

What a paid Hyva licence does not cover

A Hyva licence buys a front end, a checkout and some admin tooling. It does not buy a working store, and the agencies worth calling say so in public. Hyva's own pages set the first boundary: Hyva Checkout works from scratch on Magewire, so standard Magento integrations mostly do not work out of the box and compatibility has to be written; Hyva Enterprise does not yet cover all Adobe Commerce features; and a licence covers one installation with unlimited domains and store views only where they belong to the same business entity, with multivendor and software as a service arrangements needing custom licensing.

The sharpest agency statement on this page belongs to Fluid Commerce, under a heading that says Hyva Enterprise does not make business to business complexity disappear. It names the mechanism rather than gesturing at it: business to business implementations accumulate business specific functionality, so a company may technically be using an Adobe Commerce feature such as shared catalogues or company accounts while the way that feature interacts with its pricing model, its enterprise resource planning, its customer data or its ordering process is unique. Its conclusion is that a migration should start with understanding the business rather than installing a front end, and that it would not recommend treating one as a simple theme replacement.

Three more are worth having on a call. Dev Team publishes that Hyva alone is not a silver bullet and that images, fonts, JavaScript, caching, hosting and third party integrations all have to be optimised for the out of the box gains to be retained, and it publishes a named client whose Hyva build was underperforming a year after implementation. JaJuMa publishes the licence mechanics as limits in their own right, that Hyva Checkout requires a store already running the Hyva Themes front end, that a recurring 250 euro a year is needed after the first, and that agencies must buy a separate plan for each client project. elgentos publishes a build where it deliberately left the checkout on the old theme because that part of the shop was the most entangled, and then states the downside itself, that one part of the shop still carries the old JavaScript.

One agency researched for this page and not ranked on it publishes the most useful sentence of all, and it is worth reading precisely because it is an argument against buying. ParadoxLabs keeps a box headed when Hyva is wrong, and answers with deeply customised checkout ecosystems mid refactor, or stores leaving the platform inside 18 months. That is the territory Hyva Checkout is sold into, and its published answer is to say so rather than to sell the licence. It is not ranked here because it names no licensed Hyva product on the pages read, which is a disclosure fact rather than a judgement about its engineering.

7 Methodology

How this was put together

Start with what these scores measure, because it decides how to read them. This page scores what an agency publishes about Hyva's licensed products, not the quality of that work, so a low score means thin public disclosure rather than weak delivery. Ten agencies were scored out of 100 against six weighted criteria: the Hyva partner tier read from the full register at 26, how much of the licensed product line the agency publishes with its own scope at 22, a named client live on a licensed product at 18, Hyva Enterprise and the Adobe Commerce depth it requires at 16, what the licensed products cost and are built on at 10, and what a paid licence does not cover at 8. The full ladder for each criterion is printed above, the ranking is the score order with no adjustment, and the weights were fixed before any agency was totalled. Where two agencies tie, the one scoring higher on the heaviest criterion is placed first, which is why elgentos is placed above Aureate Labs on 68 each and Cream above JaJuMa on 62 each.

Every agency was read from its own website on 5 October 2026 with a plain HTTP fetch, and every entry links the page it was read from. Where a figure was not found, this page says it was not found on the pages read, which is different from saying it is not published: nobody has read every page of ten websites. Hyva's own product pages, store and partner documentation are the facts not taken from a ranked agency's site, and each is named at the point of use. Partner tiers were read from Hyva's full agency register and never from the curated Preferred Partners page. The register was parsed per listing element, each holding exactly one agency link and at most one tier badge, rather than by matching a name to whatever tier word happened to follow it: 460 listings parsed, none malformed, giving 18 Platinum, 45 Gold, 102 Silver, 264 Bronze and 31 listings with no badge. All ten agencies were swept, not only the ones claiming a tier. One agency's domain was unreachable from the network this edition was researched on, so its pages were fetched at the origin address with the hostname preserved and the certificate checked, rather than being recorded as publishing nothing; a false dead link is how a true fact gets deleted.

Two ladder revisions were made during the build and both are disclosed rather than absorbed. The product coverage criterion was first drafted on the four licences Hyva's partner documentation names for licence sales, Commerce, Enterprise, Checkout and UI. Hyva's own documentation presents Hyva POS as a product in its own right and bundles Hyva CMS into the Commerce and Enterprise licences, so the accurate set a merchant can buy is six, and the criterion counts six. Both research briefs asked for all six from the start, so no agency was checked on a narrower set than another. Scored on the original four, the order is scandiweb 83, Fluid Commerce 77, Dev Team 76, Foundation Commerce 74, Vendic 70, ZERO-1 69, elgentos 68, Aureate Labs 68, JaJuMa 62 and Cream 58, so first place holds with the margin cut from 9.0 points to 6.0. The licence criterion was also restated once as a single ordered ladder with one uniform deduction for a contradicting page, because the first draft was not monotone: an agency publishing more could score less than one publishing less. The restated ladder is the one printed above and it was applied to all ten agencies from the same evidence.

The sensitivity of the result to those weights was tested two ways and the second is the harder test. Across 101,899 weightings in which the register tier stays the heaviest criterion and every criterion holds a floor of 5, scandiweb ranks first in every one. Across 98,280 weightings with no criterion forced to be heaviest and the same floor, scandiweb ranks first in 70.1%, second in 15.6% and in the top three in 95.6%, with Fluid Commerce first in 13.7%, Aureate Labs in 10.3% and Foundation Commerce in 6.0%. Two single criterion tests matter more than either sweep. Remove the register tier entirely and first place changes hands: Fluid Commerce 85.1, scandiweb 82.4, Dev Team 79.7. Remove the Adobe criterion entirely and the 9 point lead becomes a dead tie: scandiweb 88.1 and Foundation Commerce 88.1, with Vendic third on 85.7. Both of those are published here rather than tuned away, and the margin between third and fourth at the printed weights is a single point, Fluid Commerce 77 against Dev Team 76.

Four further agencies were researched to the same depth and are not ranked, each for a stated reason, and none is disqualified as an agency. Emico scores 58 and falls below the ten published, with a Platinum listing and Hyva Checkout named only inside two case studies while its own Hyva page names no licensed product at all; its Hyva page title and meta description read Gold while its body copy and the register read Platinum. Synolia scores 46: it names five of the six products as catalogue descriptions rather than as its own scope, publishes no client against any of them, and is the agency whose register listing moved up to Platinum while its own pages still say Gold. integer_net scores 34, which is the clearest demonstration on this page that the tier is one line of six: it holds Platinum, it is described by Hyva's own curated page as its main partner and initial co-creator, it names all six products accurately including the Enterprise rule for Adobe Commerce, and it publishes no client on a licensed product, no price, no licence position and no limit on the pages read. ParadoxLabs scores 16 because it names no licensed Hyva product at all, publishing instead that it preserved an existing checkout on its flagship Hyva migration and keeping a box on when Hyva is the wrong call. Two more were set aside without a score: Trinos publishes a Platinum badge on its Dutch homepage and no licensed product, and its Hyva URL returns a 404; Youwe holds Gold in two countries and serves its pages through client side rendering that a plain fetch returns almost empty, so its pages are recorded as not read rather than as publishing nothing.

Three rules governed what went in. A figure was used only where it was found on a page that could be opened and linked, so results repeated elsewhere without a client attached were left out entirely rather than softened. Where two pages on one site give different figures for what looks like the same thing, this page says a reader cannot reconcile them from what is published, which is checkable, rather than saying the company contradicts itself, which would require knowing which figure was meant; that applies to the first placed agency's 93 to 100 PageSpeed range and to Aureate Labs publishing one project as 14 to 84 and 14 to 92. And no exclusivity claim is made about any vendor maintained status anywhere on this page, because a tier is one promotion away from making such a sentence false, as this register demonstrated inside a single week.

Common questions

Which agencies work with Hyva's paid products in 2026?

Ten are scored on this page: scandiweb, Foundation Commerce, Fluid Commerce, Dev Team, Vendic, ZERO-1, elgentos, Aureate Labs, Cream and JaJuMa. They were drawn from Hyva's full agency register on the basis that each publishes something about at least one of Hyva's licensed products rather than only about the free theme. Read on 5 October 2026, six hold Platinum in the register, which are scandiweb, Foundation Commerce, Vendic, ZERO-1, elgentos and Cream, and four hold Gold, which are Fluid Commerce, Dev Team, Aureate Labs and JaJuMa. Four more agencies were researched and are named in the methodology with their scores: Emico on 58, Synolia on 46, integer_net on 34 and ParadoxLabs on 16.

What are Hyva's paid products, and what does each one cost?

There are six products and four of them are separately licensed. Read from Hyva's own store on 5 October 2026: Hyva UI costs 250 euro, Hyva Checkout costs 1,000 euro as a one time fee with the first year of support and updates included and 250 euro a year after that, Hyva Commerce costs 3,000 euro a year or 15,000 euro upfront for five years, and Hyva Enterprise costs 7,500 euro the first year then 5,000 euro a year, or 27,500 euro upfront for five years. Hyva CMS is not a separate licence: it is bundled into Commerce and Enterprise. Hyva POS is licensed per register, at 50 euro a register a month for the Pro tier, with a free tier covering one device. The Hyva Theme itself is free.

Is the Hyva theme still a paid licence?

No. The Hyva Theme became free and open source on 10 November 2025, relicensed under OSL3 and AFL3, the same licences as Magento Open Source, with supporting modules relicensed alongside it. That matters when reading agency pages, because several of the ten here still price the theme. Two publish a 1,000 euro theme licence on undated or 2022 pages, one asks a buyer to budget for a theme licence alongside its own template product, and one implies the theme is still paid in the same answer where it says Magento Open Source is free. The 1,000 euro figure is now the price of Hyva Checkout, not of the theme.

What is the difference between Hyva Commerce and Hyva Enterprise?

The platform you run on decides it, not your size. Hyva publishes the rule plainly: if you are on Magento Open Source or Mage-OS, use Hyva Commerce, and if you are on Adobe Commerce, you need Hyva Enterprise. Commerce bundles the Hyva Theme, Checkout and UI with Hyva CMS and admin tooling for 3,000 euro a year. Enterprise includes everything in Commerce and adds Adobe Commerce support, which is what unlocks Adobe Sensei capabilities, content staging, business to business functionality and loyalty features, for 7,500 euro the first year and 5,000 euro on renewal. Hyva also publishes a cashback offer for merchants holding existing Commerce, Theme or Checkout licences.

Do I need Hyva Enterprise if I am on Adobe Commerce?

Yes, if you want the Adobe Commerce specific features to keep working. Hyva states that an Adobe Commerce store needs Hyva Enterprise rather than Hyva Commerce, and that Adobe Commerce feature coverage for its checkout is being built as part of the Enterprise offering, so buying both Enterprise and Checkout is what makes the Adobe features usable. Hyva adds the caveat that it has not covered all Adobe Commerce features yet, and points at a filterable roadmap. Exactly one agency on this page publishes a named client on Hyva Enterprise, which is Fluid Commerce, with Cablecraft and Pearson Hydraulics. Dev Team publishes Hyva Enterprise as its own service line and names no Enterprise client, and the remaining eight either name the product without claiming the work or do not name it at all.

What is the difference between Hyva Checkout and Hyva React Checkout?

They are two separate products on two separate stacks and only the first is Hyva's. Hyva Checkout is a commercial product built on Magewire, a PHP driven component framework, and it needs its own licence at 1,000 euro. React Checkout for Hyva Themes is a community owned open source initiative, free on GitHub, built on React. Hyva also publishes that because its checkout was built from scratch on Magewire, Alpine.js and Tailwind CSS, standard Magento integrations in most cases do not work out of the box and compatibility has to be added. Of the ten agencies here, one publishes that distinction correctly, one labels the commercial product's own URL as React Checkout, and the agency in first place describes the commercial product as React based on its most detailed page about it.

How many Hyva developer certifications does Platinum require?

Five, as a minimum, and that is only one of three gates. Hyva publishes that every tier requires a points threshold, a minimum number of developer certifications and a minimum share of the agency's live Hyva projects passing Google Core Web Vitals. Bronze requires no certifications and a 50% pass rate, Silver one and 50%, Gold three and 60%, and Platinum five and 70%. A published count above five is therefore worth asking for. On this page the highest is the 30 or more certified Hyva developers Hyva itself publishes in its curated blurb for scandiweb, then three for ZERO-1 and two for Synolia, which is not ranked here. Nobody else publishes a number.

Can a Hyva partner be downgraded during the year?

No, and that is the most useful thing to know about reading a tier. Hyva publishes that points are tallied once a year in December, based on the current and previous year's activity, that an agency cannot be downgraded during the year but can be upgraded if its points increase, and that no downgrades will occur in 2026 at all because the programme is transitioning to a new points system. So a tier read today reflects a December tally that is not allowed to fall before the next one. It is a lagging indicator in one direction only, which is why a tier is more reliable as a floor than as a current measurement.

How do I check an agency's real Hyva partner tier?

Open Hyva's full agency register, find the agency's own listing, and read the tier badge inside that listing rather than the nearest tier heading. Do not use the curated Preferred Partners page for this, because it carries only the top three tiers, so an agency holding a genuine Bronze or unbadged listing looks like it holds nothing. Read on 5 October 2026 the full register carries 460 listings: 18 Platinum, 45 Gold, 102 Silver, 264 Bronze and 31 with no badge. Note that one agency can hold several listings, one per country, which is counted on this page because a Hyva licence is sold per installation and per market.

Did the Hyva register change recently?

Yes, inside a single week. Read on 28 September 2026 the register carried 17 Platinum and 46 Gold listings. Read on 5 October 2026 it carries 18 Platinum and 45 Gold, with the total unchanged at 460, so exactly one listing moved from Gold to Platinum. The agency that moved is Synolia, in France, and its own pages still describe it as a Hyva Gold partner. That is the reason every tier printed on this page carries the date it was read, and the reason no sentence here claims any agency is the only one at any tier. A tier printed without a date is a claim about the present that quietly goes stale.

What is Hyva POS and can I buy it today?

Hyva POS is a point of sale system for Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce, a native app for iPhone, iPad and Mac that runs a register directly against your Magento instance with no middleware, so the catalogue, stock, customers and orders are the same records the webshop uses. The Pro tier costs 50 euro per register per month and adds central management, staff and roles, offline mode, receipt sync, cross channel wallets, staged returns, pickup and more, while a free tier gives a complete register on one device. You probably cannot buy it today: Hyva's own page is headed coming soon, the closed pilot has already shut to new applications, and a public App Store release is still to follow. Four of the ten agencies here name it, which are scandiweb, Dev Team, Cream and Foundation Commerce. One of those publishes a scope of work on it, scandiweb, and none publishes a client.

What is Hyva CMS, and does it replace Magento Page Builder?

Hyva CMS is a visual content editor with a live storefront preview, drafts, version history, device and store view switching and simplified content types, and it is bundled into the Hyva Commerce and Hyva Enterprise licences rather than sold separately. It does not replace Page Builder. Hyva publishes that installing it does not affect existing Page Builder content or its output, that it can be enabled per page or per block so a team can switch over when ready, and that existing Page Builder content can be migrated into the new editor or left alone. One agency on this page also publishes a genuine caveat about it: content created with the current Hyva library will not carry over automatically, so a transition plan is needed.

Which agencies publish a named client on a paid Hyva product?

All ten ranked here publish at least one, and the quality varies far more than the count suggests. Foundation Commerce publishes two with commercial figures against Hyva Checkout, Citizen Watch and Again Faster. elgentos publishes EFKA with three commercial figures. Vendic publishes Huissteden and Paco Verpakkingen on Theme and Checkout together, and TopaShop on Hyva Commerce. Aureate Labs publishes Regton and JaJuMa publishes Rosemarie Schulz, both with performance figures. scandiweb publishes ATX Fitness on three licensed products with no commercial figure. Cream publishes Meerdanlicht on Hyva Commerce with no figure. Fluid Commerce publishes Cablecraft and Pearson Hydraulics on Hyva Enterprise, the only named Enterprise clients found. Dev Team publishes Flooring Superstore on Hyva Checkout with an empty results panel. ZERO-1 publishes Barr Display on Hyva Checkout with ShipperHQ, with its figure attached to the Hyva switch rather than to the checkout.

Does a Hyva Checkout licence cover my payment and shipping integrations?

No, and Hyva says so itself. Because the checkout was built from scratch on Magewire, Alpine.js and Tailwind CSS, standard Magento integrations in most cases do not work out of the box and compatibility has to be added. Hyva maintains lists of supported payment and shipping integrations, community supported ones, and a public tracker of demand and progress. Several agencies here have written that compatibility themselves and publish which: ZERO-1 delivered the first ShipperHQ support and the Instore Collect and multi source inventory functionality, elgentos built Paazl and Loqate support, Vendic released a PostNL compatibility module, and Aureate Labs added Omnifinance compatibility for a named client. Ask a shortlist which of your specific providers already work.

Does a low score on this page mean an agency is bad at Hyva?

No. This page scores what an agency publishes about Hyva's licensed products, not what it delivers. The clearest illustration is not even in the top ten: integer_net scores 34 while holding Platinum in the register and being described by Hyva's own curated page as its main partner and initial co-creator, because it names the products accurately and publishes no client, no price, no licence position and no limit on the pages read. Cream scores 62 here while scoring 27 on a comparable page about theme engineering, because it publishes a dedicated landing page per Hyva product and very little about how it builds. A thin public record makes an agency harder to shortlist from a desk, which is a real cost, but it is not evidence about the code.

What does a paid Hyva licence not cover?

Three things, in the order they bite. Integrations: Hyva Checkout needs compatibility written for standard Magento payment and shipping integrations, and Hyva Enterprise does not yet cover all Adobe Commerce features. Scope: a licence covers one installation with unlimited domains and store views only where they belong to the same business entity, agencies must buy a separate plan for each client project, and multivendor or software as a service arrangements need custom licensing. And the business itself: the sharpest published statement on this page is that Hyva Enterprise does not make business to business complexity disappear, because the way a company's shared catalogues or company accounts interact with its pricing model, its enterprise resource planning and its ordering process is usually unique to it.

Why does scandiweb rank first, and by how much?

By 9 points, 87 against 78. It shares the top mark on the heaviest criterion with ZERO-1, holding five listings at Platinum in Hyva's full register across five countries against ZERO-1's two, with a certification count of 30 or more that Hyva publishes itself. It shares the top mark on product coverage with Foundation Commerce, Fluid Commerce, Dev Team, Vendic and Cream, carrying four of the six licensed products with a published scope of work where the criterion caps at three. And it takes the full mark on published limits, as does every agency here except Cream. It takes the top mark nowhere else. On named clients it scores 14 of 18, behind five agencies, Foundation Commerce, Vendic, elgentos, Aureate Labs and JaJuMa, because its one case on licensed products publishes no commercial figure. On the Adobe line it scores 13 of 16 because Hyva Enterprise is named without a scope of work. And on the licence line it scores 4 of 10, behind two agencies, because one of its pages describes Hyva Checkout as React based and free and prices the theme at 1,000 euro. Remove the register tier and it is second. Remove the Adobe criterion and it is tied first.

How can I check these scores myself?

Every figure on this page links the page it was read from, and the scoring model is published as machine readable structured data with one entry per criterion and its weight, so it can be re-run rather than taken on trust. To reproduce the tier column, open Hyva's full register, find each agency's own listing and read the badge inside it. To reproduce the product coverage column, open each agency's Hyva pages and ask two questions per product: is it named, and is there a sentence describing what this agency does to it. To reproduce the licence column, check each statement against Hyva's own product pages on the day you read it. Then apply the ladders printed above. The scores were totalled once, at the weights published here, and both sensitivity sweeps are summarised in the methodology.

What should I ask an agency quoting a Hyva Commerce or Hyva Enterprise build?

Six questions, each drawn from something an agency on this page already publishes. Which Hyva licence do you say I need, and does your answer match the platform I am on. Which of my payment and shipping integrations already have Hyva Checkout compatibility, and who pays to write the ones that do not. Name a client you put live on a licensed Hyva product, give me the case study URL, and tell me what moved commercially. How many of your developers hold a Hyva certification, in writing. Who will own the licence, me or you, and what happens to it if I change agency. And what do you think a Hyva licence will not fix about my store, because the agencies that scored well on this page answered that in public before anyone asked.
